once upon a time, there was a little girl, who waited to receive her first kiss until she knew he was absolutely perfect and special.
this little girl grew up and went all through high school holding onto this special kiss. the right boy just never came along.
she wasn't sad. this kiss would come. and it would be spectacular. lots of fireworks.
one day this little girl met a boy who did seem so right. she was falling for him. hard.
she knew she wanted him to give her the special kiss.
but there was one problem.
this little girl was leaving for college.
and this little boy still had one more year of high school.
she really only had one month to spend with him.
it didn't seem like it was enough time.
but somehow love blossomed between them.
the little boy though seemed afraid to bestow this kiss.
the little girl didn't want any random college boy to steal her kiss.
she wanted this little boy's kiss.
"wait," the little boy said. and then he gave the little girl a fancy ring box.
"save this box, this kiss, until you see me next."
the little girl would not open this box. not until she saw the little boy again.
she would not give away her special first kiss.
and now she held on to the little boy's only kiss.
"there is one more thing I want to give you. let me count down to one."

she could hear him fiddling through his bag.

perfect.
now the little girl will wait.
for her prince.
